Extending Applications of Generalizability Theory-Based Bifactor Model Designs

چکیده
In recent years, researchers have described how to analyze generalizability theory (GT) based univariate, multivariate, and bifactor designs using structural equation models. However, within GT studies of models, variance components been limited those reflecting relative differences in scores for norm-referencing purposes, with only guidance provided estimating key indices when making changes measurement procedures. this article, we demonstrate derive multi-facet GT-based model that represent both absolute norm- or criterion-referencing purposes from selected scales the recently expanded form Big Five Inventory (BFI-2). We further develop apply prophecy formulas determining numbers items, occasions, universes generalization affect a wide variety instrumental best ways change procedures specific purposes. These include coefficients representing score dependability; scale viability added value; proportions observed attributable general factor effects, group individual sources error. To enable readers these techniques, provide detailed formulas, code R, sample data conducting all demonstrated analyses article.

Bifactor Item Response Theory Model of Acute Stress Response
BACKGROUND Better understanding of acute stress responses is important for revision of DSM-5. However, the latent structure and relationship between different aspects of acute stress responses haven't been clarified comprehensively. Bifactor item response model may help resolve this problem. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study is to develop a statistical model of acute stress responses, based...
متن کاملInvestigation of Bakhtiari Carpet Designs based on Kaplan-Gestalt Model
Carpet is one of the most important textiles man-made. The rug represents the aspirations and interests of the people who weave it. Therefore, recognizing the image in carpets can be a window into recognizing these ideals. In this research, Bakhtiari rug is investigated. Bakhtiari rugs (toranji, yalameh and cetral) are textiles produced by Bakhtiari people of choharmahal-o-bakhtiari province. T...
متن کامل36 Generalizability Theory
Generalizability (G) theory is a statistical theory for evaluating the dependability (or reliability) of behavioral measurements (Cronbach, Gleser, Nanda, & Rajaratnam, 1972; see also Brennan, 2001; Shavelson & Webb, 1991). G theory permits the researcher to address such questions as: Is the sampling of tasks or judges the major source of measurement error? Can I improve the reliability of the ...
متن کاملExtending Role Based Access Control Model for Distributed Multidomain Applications
This paper presents the results related to the development of a flexible domain-based access control infrastructure for distributed Grid-based Collaborative Environments and Complex Resource Provisioning. The paper proposes extensions to the classical RBAC model to address typical problems and requirements in the distributed hierarchical resource management such as: hierarchical resources polic...
